It is very common
diseases among the people and not well understood. It’s not a single disease.
It is referring to joint pain or we could call it as a joint disease. Arthritis
can attack on joints area of any joint part of body. Some of them can reason
change which you can see and feel it such as pain, swelling, warmth and redness
in your joints and some of cause less troublesome symptoms, but slowly damage
your joints.There are more than 100 types of arthritis in the world. Every age
of people, genders and any races from the world can face the arthritis. As we
mention in the above that there are more than 100 types of arthritis but which
one from these arthritis for older people.
There are three
types of arthritis which is commonly sees in adults and above 65 ages of adults
have experiences this arthritis which is very common but very painful.
Osteoarthritis
Rheumatoid
arthritis
Gout.
OSTEOARTHRITIS
Osteoarthritisis
the common type of arthritis in Elders. It starts when cartilage begins to turn
into tattered and wears away. Cartilage is a tissue which works as a pad bones
in the joints of the body. The cartilage in a joint wears away, leaving a bone
that rub against each other. You would feel this in your hands, neck, lower
back and weight-bearing joints of your body, such as knees and hips.
Symptoms of OSTEOARTHRITIS
1. Inflexibility
and mild pain which comes and goes with activities elders do like walking,
bending, or stooping to severe joint pain that keeps on even when you rest or
try to sleep.
2. Sometimes
people would feel the pain in the joints even they have not moved them for a
while. Once the tautness goes away when you move the joint.
3. It
can also cause problems moving joints and sometimes disability if your back,
knees, or hips are affected.
RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
Itis
an autoimmune disease which means your body attacks the lining of a joint just
as it would if it were trying to protect you from injury or disease. It leads
to inflammationin your joints of body. The inflammation causes like pain,
swelling, and stiffness that lasts for hours. It can happen in different joints
at the same time. You cannot be able to move the joints. People who are
suffering from it don't feel well.
The
effect of RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS can attack any joint of the body like fingers,
wrists, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and neck. If you have on
one side of your body in the joints than it is a possibilities to have on the
other side of body in the joints andit can also attack organs like heart,
muscles, blood vessels, nervous system, and eyes.
Gout
It
is the painful type of arthritis. An attack can begin when crystals of uric
acid form in the connective tissue and/or joint spaces. These deposits lead to
swelling, redness, heat, pain, and stiffness in the joint. Gout attacks often
follow eating foods like shellfish, liver, dried beans, peas, anchovies, or
gravy. Using alcohol, being overweight, and certain medications may also make
gout worse. In older people, some blood pressure medicines can also increase
your chance of a gout attack.
Gout
is most often a problem in the big toe, but it can affect other joints,
including your ankle, elbow, knee, wrist, hand, or other toes. Swelling may cause the skin to pull tightly around the joint and make the
area red or purple and very tender. Your doctor might suggest blood tests and x-rays.
He or she might also take a sample of fluid from your joint while you are
having an attack.
